Happy Halloween Party

Well, we had our annual Halloween Party today, along with my friend Wendy, we threw quite a nice party if I do say so myself! The kids had a great time. My cousin Beth was in town from Vegas and brought three of her grandchildren with her and it's ALWAYS nice to see Michael, Kathyrn and Matthew, they are too cute for words! Baby Claire came and was Piglet, Baby Haley came and was a very cute frog (Haley's only a few months old, Baby Claire as my kids call her is sixteen months old I believe???? and is going to be a big sister come this spring, yeah another baby around to love!)

Everyone from the Great Grandparents to the kiddies had a blast and in true Jenn fashion I had enough food to feed the neighborhood! But that's me.

Sassy Gracie!

Well, today was school picture day for Grace and her Pre K 3 year old class. It's like a nightmare. She didn't want to comb her hair, wear a dress, tights, shoes the whole shabang! Then when it came time to leave the house, late mind you, as usual with us, she didn't want to put her coat on, now it's forty degrees here, she NEEDS to put a coat on. So I for went the hat today this way her hair didn't get messy and I told her she had to put her hood on. It was one of those days.
Then I get to work and quite honestly it doesn't get any better........................I'm wondering when I'm going to get rich!

Pumpkin Farm

We took the kids to the Great Pumpkin Farm on Monday October 9th, yes, my birthday, and then we got that horrible weather on Thursday night October 12th, go figure, huh? I'm glad that the kids got to go and have a good time before Old Man Winter set in around our frozen tundra!

Grace went on a Pony Ride, I think we may have an Aquestrian in the family! Joey went on the Giant Slide with Mommy, once again not a thrill seeker and was not amused at all! My poor baby!!!!! They rode the rides and picked out pumpkins. We went in the hay stack maze as well, the one suitable for little people of course.

So, as Halloween approaches, have a great and very happy and safe Halloween from our Pumpkins to yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a picture from our front yart down the street. It's crazy to think that a week ago we had all of this trouble. Most have their power back if they lost it, there's only two hundred something people in our area without power at this point. This storm caused a lot of problems for a lot of people. Keep everyone in this area in your thoughts and prayers as they recover from this ordeal!

Snow Day!!

Here's what our snow days brought about! Joey is very unsure of the snow, not a big fan, I hate to break it to him that we live in Buffalo and the weather is not so great here more than half of the year and we get snow! Grace on the other hand is a thrill seeker and LOVES the snow and loves to play around in it and make Snow Angels! I'm actually not even sure where she learned that, must be from Arthur or something to that effect!

October Storm, boy what a surprise!

Hello!
Finally have a home phone and my DSL is back up and running. We were very fortunate, unlike the rest of my family , we were pretty much the only ones with power. I have pictures to upload into the computer and then I'll post them on here of what our front yard looked like and our street. It wasn't a pretty sight.

Grace and Joey had been sick for over a week when this all happened, they both had RSV/bronchilitious (however spelled??) and ear infections, first time for those, boy not fun at all if you ask me! Grace missed a week and a half of school, she only goes twice a week.

We are all realy for Halloween!! Joey will be Peter Pan and Grace is going to be Jasmine from Aladdin. It was the third costume for Grace and the second for Joey. Joey originally had Mickey Mouse and was terrified of it! UT OH! Grace had Princess Aurora (sleeping beauty) and it was terribly itchy, so we took it back, got Ariel, the Little Mermaid and it was tooooooo long on her, so we ended up with Jasmine, very very cute, she looks like Jeannie in I Dream of Jeannie! Love them both! So, Grace can grant wishes while Peter Pan uses his imagination and looks for Tinkerbell! Too funny!
