The McNamara's

A compilation of our crazy lives in the McNamara household! We have been married over six years and have two kids. Grace who is four and Joey who is two and a half. Our lives are crazy and we don't take much time to breathe in our house, but that's just the way we like it, exciting!

It's Been A While!

It's been a while since I've blogged. Daily life seems to get in the way and honestly it's just hustle and bustle, not even that interesting sometimes. But in a good way!

Gram is holding her own. She checks in with the VNA every day at the same time through that amazing machine she has in her house. She weights, checks o2 sats and blood pressure daily. If they can't get a reading or they dont' like what they've seen they have her go back and do it again, so it's quite helpful.

Mom's doing ok. She's helping Gram out and keeping two houses.

Grace got stitches last week, I'm hoping this is the first and last time for this one. Five of them, she tore her elbow off, ewwwww! and OUCH!

Joey, is well, Joey. He's doing well, we're in the midst of potty training. Oh happy day. It's a hard fete for all of you who have toddlers you know where I'm coming from!

Joe and I are still working hard. I've been working weekends in exchange for a day off during the wee, usually Wednedsay for the past month or so, and it will end when Grace goes to school in a week and a half, boy did this summer go by quickly or what?

We've done the summery things, gone to the Fair, Fantasy Island, Darien Lake and all of that, the Zoo especially! This weekend is the Irish Fest and I'm sure you guessed with a last name like McNamara, we're season regulars!

Grace has been enrolled into Irish Dance classes for the fall, into tap/ballet combo and acro. It's going to be quite the year for her. Joey is going to swim again in the fall. I'm hoping to get a handle on his Von Willebrands Disease and what kinds of sports he will be able to play and what I need to do to safeguard him. Also, with his blindness in the one eye we need to keep that in mind.

I hope this finds everyone well!
