The McNamara's

A compilation of our crazy lives in the McNamara household! We have been married over six years and have two kids. Grace who is four and Joey who is two and a half. Our lives are crazy and we don't take much time to breathe in our house, but that's just the way we like it, exciting!

Always something!

Well, thank goodness it's almost the weekend is all I have to say today!
We had a tough day, or should I say Joe had a tough morning. Our truck broke down and it was a NASTY day out there, and it was in a not so great neighborhood. So, it's being serviced, and the higher ups are calling us back to let us know what they can do for us. Can you say "unhappy"?

Grace loved school today, again!! I'm so proud and happy. It was her turn to bring in a snack, so she did and loved every minute of it!! She brought home her first pieces of Artwork, one for Mommy and Daddy, one for Grandma and Papa and one for Grandma and Nana. She's thrilled, so are we. She's very talented, a great sense of color! Unlike her Mommy!

Joey is doing well, he had a check up yesterday, he is 27lbs, 33 inches and had three shots. Boy I really dislike those! But he did really well.

The weekend is chuck full of things as our weekends usually are. As you're all full aware, we don't breathe in our house, we're always on the go, the only way I like it!

Sunday antics

Well, it occured to me that it's a rarity on a Sunday morning, or any other for that matter that we don't have to rush and rush and rush! So, this morning, Joe left for the Bill's game quite early and I sat and had breakfast with the kids, unrushed. Then we had baths and danced around the house to yes, High School Musical! Gotta love it. The songs have become anthems in our house. But it's alright, it could be oh so much worse. When my little cousin Matthew was small, he used to watch Bowling on TV, for me that's like watching the grass grow, right up there with golf.

Anyhow, we are having a great relaxing Sunday afternoon, it's so nice to not have to rush and to enjoy the kids, I don't get to do it as often as I did when I was a stay at home Mom.

I did want to post on here that I'd like our families to send some pictures that I can put up on here to show our family who lives away. I really would like to put Moira up here and Declan. For those of you in my family who live far away, our little cousin Moira (she's three) lives in Chicago with her parents, Meghan and Thomas and her brother Declan (he's one and a half). Moira just received an award from Loyola Hospital in Chicago for, now I am not exactly sure of the title, but I think it's like a Patient of the Year award, now this hospital treats more than peds so this is a great great honor. This is the first among many awards that Moira will get in her life. We are so proud of her! We send her the biggest hugs and kisses that we can! Love you Moira!!!! And Congratulations to her family!

I would also like to put "the boys" on here, so everyone can see how big they're getting, so Laura get on that, you're waaaaaay better than I am about pictures and postings!

Love to you all!
Have a great relaxing Sunday,
Go Bills!

Joey Beeps the Truck!

We were at my Aunt Lori and Uncle Mat's birthday party and Joey was infatuated with his Uncle Ryan's truck! As soon as Ryan, Jill and Uncle Tom pulled into the driveway, Joey's eyes lit up, it was hyserical. He actually hugged the headlights?? Having boys is so funny! Anyhow, all throughout dinner he just kept saying "I beep the truck" over and over again, until his Aunt Jillie and Uncle Ryan took him outside to let him beep the truck! He was elated, then he wanted to go back out there again and do it again of course! One track mind, but Aunt Jille took him out there and put him in the drivers seat. Joey was never so excited and he is still talking about beeping the truck. Too funny for words!

Grace's first day of Pre K 3

Grace had her very first day of Pre K 3. She loved it! Her friend Natalia goes to the same school and is in her class. And she made a new friend Angie (Angelina). Her teacher is awesome and super nice. Very dramatic but when you're dealing with 3 year olds, drama is the way to go and we all know that I'm a drama queen as is Gracie! Joe and I are so proud of our little girl and cannot believe how big she's getting, that she's actually in school..........where has the time gone??

1st Day of Dance Class

Today was Grace's first day of Dance Class at her new dancing school, Dance Spectrum, where her 'older' cousin Miranda aka to Grace Mimi dances. Grace did awesome and her little friend Ally was there too to share in the first day excitement!
