Saturday's are supposed to be fun, right?
Well, I woke up this morning, got ready for work, like any other morning, only this was a
SATURDAY! I needed to tie up some loose ends at work to be on vacation this coming week, guess what? Going to work Monday morning anyways.
Joey woke up and he looked a little well, not so right. His eye was looking pretty bad to me adn I called Joe over. We self diagnosed him, of course like every good parent does, right? LOL Anyway, I called the pediatrician, who low and behold was out of town on a weekend that preceeds the 4th of July! So, I in turn called the eye doctor. For those of you who don't know, Joey is legally blind in his left eye and is cross eyed and has a lazy eye in that eye as well. So he wears glasses. He also has bad allergies so he rubs his eyes and face constantly. So, of course the infection was in the left eye. I went on to work where I got a call from Joe, the eye doctor said that if the swelling didn't go down to take him to the ER. Joe took him, they looked at him and gave him an RX, same stuff the eye doc called in. Three times a day, that ought to prove to be interesting. So, needless to say, Joey cannot go anywhere for twenty four hours after the firt dose of antibiotics and me, I'm just waiting for Grace and Joe and I to get it. I Lysoled the house, germ free, well as germ free as it's going to get with two little kids, right?
So, that's a fun Saturday in the McNamara household. Not as much fun as we could be having, but it's a great excuse to curl up and watch movies with the kids, which is what I've been doing today, Madagascar is on now, it's Joey favorite so I'm not surprised we're watching this again!
Other than that, it's a quiet weekend in our house.
Joey goes to the eye doctor this week so I'll post and let you know how we make out! It's his follow up from a new RX change in his eye prescription at the end of April.
