Getting back in the swing of things

Well, it's been quite a while since I've blogged and felt the need to get back into the swing of things, it's actually theraputic to just write and write whatever happens to be going on!

Let's catch up on the kids.........Grace is four, just turned this past April 6th, Joey is two and a half, I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Grace just finished up her PRE-K 3 school year at Catholic Academy. She loved it there. I only wish we could keep her there, but it's quite expensive. She will be going to public school this fall, and is excited about returning to the classroom, I'm trying to prime her and help her realize that she will be going everyday all day, that's a switch from two half days! She just finished dance two weeks ago, she was absolutely beautiful in her pretty blue costume, she danced to All Aboard, she will go back in the fall to the same studio Mimi dances at! Grace starts Irish Dance next week for the summer as well. She graduated from swim class from a Lobster to a Seahorse, which she was doing independent swim and can move onto the next level of it.

Joey is doing great. He had surgery in May and really came through like a champ. His blood disease was a lot to conquer with the surgery but he was great through the whole thing, funny how kids are resilient isn't it? He just finished swim lessons, he is doing great!! He's a fish in the water, thankfully he loves it! He is just talking up a storm, gee I wonder where he gets that from......hmmmmm!

Mom and Gram are doing well. They watch the kids for us while we are at work, Joe's Mom watches Joey twice a week as well. It's a great help to have family around us. We are really greatful and thankful!

We have a fun week off coming next week. We have plans everyday with day trips so that should be fun.
